Christmas morning was great. Masayu called me up to get ready and meet her for an impromptu birthday surprise for Wati. Wati tried very hard to hide the fact that her birthday falls on the day she will be on leave but we found out. She doesn't like to take photos as you can see from her hiding behind papers. We had lunch at Swensen's and sorry for my awkwardness as I don't dine out much but that was the first time I tried Banana Crumble and I figuratively exploded into tinier bananas. My love for bananas is infinite. Damn, talking about bananas right now is making my mouth water. I almost bought a bunch of bananas just because I had the money. Now I regret that I didn't.
Moving on from bananas....
I spent a bomb on Christmas gifts. It wasn't for any exchange whatsoever. I just love the gift of giving! My colleagues, my friends, my loved ones. It was truly one of the best Christmas I had. No hangover from a drunk slutty party I've been to, just plain old traditional quality time with an amazing set of friends.
