I was invited to sing at Nurhaziqah's Annual Dinner and Dance on 20th July, one which she was planning for her classmates, except for the fact that it was in broad daylight so more of lunch I suppose. It was held at her school, ITE CCK and it was a nerve-wrecking experience for me although I've performed quite a number of times, I just don't know why that was the first time I forgot the lyrics. I made a couple of friends and enjoyed the food.

After the whole event, we decided to hung out since the last time we saw each other was more than a year ago. We decided to chill at Chinese Garden. impulsively my decision (as usual), because she asked me, "What's at Chinese Garden?" and I was bewildered so I wanted to bring her there. We had an impromptu dinner there. As far as I can remember, the last time I had been there during daylight was almost a year ago. I was just as in awe of the place as she was.

When night fell, we learnt that both of us were afraid of the lake, any source of natural water, to be precise. So we tried (but to no avail) to be brave and sat at a bench by the bank. As soon as we saw ripples of a what seemed to be a huge crocodile, we fled. ~tres pathethic~

I love how the beauty of Chinese Garden still amazes me and yet I dare not touch nature by hand. It is just le gross, no offence, Mother Nature. I have always been this environmental freak among my friends because I truly see how beautiful a place can be while everyone else walks away undeterred. I believe that man-made features can live alongside nature itself but not how Man has replaced nature entirely.
