Birthday Celebration Part 3
The official date where I turned 19. I took the train to Woodlands, met up with Haziqah for lunch and a good catching up session over a smoke. In the later part of the afternoon, Mafteem came over and fetched me, we bid farewell to Haziqah and made our way to the ArtScience Museum to catch the 6 o'clock show of the Harry Potter exhibition. I was squirming and giggling with excitement and sadly, having reminded over a countless of times, no photography allowed, no photos were taken. I kept shouting out the spells to every film we walked past and the names of each character. I am that much of a Harry Potter geek. Definitely a wonderful birthday gift.
Afterwards, I was told that dinner was a surprise. He brought me to Nicoll Highway station and gave me hints whilst on the way to our destination. I was so thrilled to figure out by then that my stomach growled with hunger! Tulang at Beach Rd! Mmm, my mouth was watering. We were so full after a good hearty meal. He filled me in on a few details on our next destination. Dessert! What could we be having? Once again I was led with tiny bit of clues but upon reaching our designated area, Geylang, I screamed, "Durians!" We had a good talk about the past 2 years we have been together and all the great things that has happened to us.
I crashed on my bed the moment I arrived home. It was a day well spent.

Birthday Celebration Part 2
Well, in case you haven't already heard, I work with kikki.K. I've been an employee for about 6 months now. Monday morning, the retail department was invited to breakfast with the big bosses, the founders, Kristina and Paul. They brought along the young ones, Axel and Tiffany. I met up with my colleagues in town and took a bus to Regent Hotel. We had a room solely to ourselves. Breakfast buffet was scrumptious but not much variety, apparently. Disappointing for a food junkie like me.
I was so fond of the duo, who offered their gratitude and warm smiles in return for our service. They were very thoughtful of our welfare and to have come all the way to Singapore to meet each and everyone of us, really outshone their modesty. I gave Kristina a stalk of rose and discussed with Paul about my studies and lifelong plans. It was such a rare opportunity for the teams to get together so I just had to bring my baby camera.
After which I met my lover boy for brunch at Sarbat and we walked back to our hotel, Park Royal. My mother had booked 2 nights. My sister was waiting in the room and we ended up watching Cartoon Network for the rest of the day until evening, when the heat had died down. We went for a lazy swim in the pool and then back to our room for more 'toons. Yeah, that's about it. One of the most laid-back Monday I had in a long time. Stress-free glee.
