Saturday: Sonya's sister, May, 21st birthday party held at Costa Sands Resort, Sentosa. Headed down to Sentosa with Camelia in the late evening, enjoying the atmosphere and scenery. Bumped into Sonya with Trina halfway down the road to Wavehouse. Afterwards, came across Sonya's sister, May, and her family and friends. Gorged down some food before walking to the beach again.
Trina wanted to try the Skyride so Sonya treated me, Camelia, May, Angela and her guy friend. He was so terrified that they asked for a plastic bag from the counter in order to avoid him from throwing up all over the place. Excited as we all were, the girls went quiet once we were ascending higher and higher. It was... hilarious...
Random Caucasian toddler.
The cute tot earlier on running around her father / foreigners crowding around the entrance
Trina's expression / awfully terrified Sonya
The view from above, although lovely, cannot be captured well aww
Guy friend who kept screaming... hehe
Luge at night
So us girls departed from Trina, May and friends and camped outside McDonald's waiting for Seb(astian)'s arrival at the Beach Station. Introduced ourselves and made our way back to the chalet. There's a staircase leading up to the chalet so every single time we sneak off for a puff, we recalled the treacherous climb up back to the chalet and dread it.
Sarah then came along with May's other friends, so late night barbecuing + beer + May's $200 birthday cake
I was learning how to play Mahjong and despite knowing better, beginner Seb won us three times in a row. Quite a boring night really, what with the awkward company. The room was small and we had at least 12 people at one time so it was really humid, loud and stuffy.
The peacock that Sarah and I chanced upon when we were about to leave for home. It entered the barbecue pit area by mistake and was walking around aimlessly. What a beauty. My only closest encounter with an animal of the wild. Cabbed back home with Sarah at 8 in the morning. Quite a mundane Saturday, if I must say.
